Shantala is the founder of Wolves Tech Initiative, and has been described as a "creative and tireless worker." She has a masters from CUNY Hunter in art history. Shantala is an environmental activist, moving from Manhattan to Vista in search of more space and nature, and is involved in the Lewisboro Land Trust. Shantala's fun fact is that she was born in Australia.

Spencer is a John Jay robotics alumnus who is studying mechanical engineering at Tufts University, Class of 2028. He is super passionate about robotics and is a mentor for the high school and middle school robotics teams. Spencer's fun fact is that he can do a backflip.

Kieran is a John Jay robotics alumnus who is studying mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, Class of 2029. He is currently working on the Terps Racing Baja SAE team and has recently accepted a position as a teaching fellow for the robotics program at UMD. Kieran's fun fact is that he is a dual citizen of The United States and Australia.

Jay is a John Jay robotics alumnus studying computer and robotics engineering at the University of Michigan, Class of 2029. He recently pioneered new software for the high school robotics teams as a mentor. Jay's fun fact is that he prefers west coast skiing over east coast skiing.

Leadership Outreach

Zach Ozals is a chemical physics major at Bowdoin, Class of 2028. Last summer, he did research on the locomotion of starfish, graphing and interpreting data related to their movements. A fun fact about Zach is that he likes to make ice cream, with his most interesting flavors being turkey and basil.

Advisor

Jonathan Peter graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is the engineering and robotics teacher at the high school, and is also a John Jay alumnus. He is passionate about helping kids develop into their most amazing selves, and loves learning new things, building things, and being outside. He has also worked as a professional aerospace engineer, captained a boat, and lived and worked in India and China in private international schools. His fun fact is that he enjoys racing bicycles.
